About the stone
Aquamarine
Aquamarine’s name comes from the Latin for seawater and it was said to calm waves and keep sailors safe at sea. March’s birthstone was also thought to enhance the happiness of marriages.
Healing Properties
Aquamarine evokes the purity of crystalline waters and the exhilaration and relaxation of the sea. This tranquil blue stone is calming, soothing, and cleansing, and inspires truth, trust and letting go. In ancient times, Aquamarine crystals were believed to be the treasure of mermaids, and was used by sailors as a talisman of good luck, fearlessness and protection. It was also considered a stone of eternal youth and happiness. Today it protects all who travel by, over, or near water, and opens the channels of clear and heartfelt communication. Under the light of the moon, Aquamarine is empowered to be a prophetic tool.
Peridot
The Egyptians called Peridot the “gem of the sun.” Today this precious gem is prized for its restful yellowish green hues and long history. Gem miners find peridot in lava flows and crystals lining solidified molten rock. Geologists believe both types of deposits relate to the spreading of the sea floor that occurs when the earth’s crust splits. Sometimes, peridot can have an extraterrestrial source, being contained in meteorites that have fallen to earth.
Healing Properties
Peridot is a crystal of ultimate positive power, a talisman for recognizing and honoring the frequency of Love, which is the source of all abundance. Combined with good intent, it helps expand one's ability to receive from the Universe on all levels of life.
Jewelry care
Each beaded jewelry piece is hand strung from the highest quality materials that are cut from natural mineral sources. They are sensitive to prolonged exposure to hairsprays and scents. To ensure longevity please be gentle and avoid tugging and pulling of these pieces.
We recommend using gold cleaning liquid at home to keep your pieces in their original condition. Where possible, it is best to have your pieces professionally cleaned by your local jeweler.
Clean your pavé pieces with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft brush or cloth.
Clean your pearl pieces with a soft, dry cloth.
