About the stone

Larimar, an extremely rare precious stone that has only been found in one very small location on the planet, a remote mountain range of the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean.  The unique color and patterns within larimar are the result of mixing and cooling that occurred as the stone formed. As a result of the unique minerals and cooling process during crystalization each piece has unique color and patterning.

Healing Properties

Larimar is a water stone - it has that ebbing energy of light dancing across the water, and it seems to be infused with a sense of cleansing calm. But Larimar is actually born from heat and fire as it comes from the volcanic spurts of the Dominican Republic.
