Meet Jia-Jia Zhu
The creative force behind JIA JIA Jewelry. With extensive experience as a buyer for Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue, Jia-Jia’s journey in the fashion industry immersed her in the world of gems and taught her the intricacies of building a fashion business from the ground up.
Raised between Shanghai and California, Jia-Jia blends the dynamic culture of city life with the serenity of nature in her designs. After a 14-year career in fashion, she moved to Bali to explore her spirituality and study Yoga, Meditation, and Reiki. It was during a meditation session in Bali that Jia-Jia received a message to work with crystals, rekindling a childhood fascination with stones collected from California’s beaches. Combining her passions, Jia-Jia founded JIA JIA to serve the greater collective through the beauty and healing power of earth’s natural offerings. Her intention is to create jewelry that heals and inspires, bridging the gap between the dynamic energy of urban life and the calming presence of nature.

The Journey Begins

Our crystals are over 300 million years old. When they are ready to come out of the earth they sit on the surface of the mine ready for its beholder.”

Ethical Sourcing
Jia-Jia’s commitment to ethical sourcing is unwavering. We do not cut or polish our crystal quartz. The clarity and shapes are natural from our earth. They are simply cleansed with water prior to being made into jewelry.
